The members of American Authors, based out of Brooklyn, NY met each other while attending Berklee College of Music in 2006. Their single “Best Day of My Life” was featured in a Lowe’s television commercial in the US, a Hyundai commercial in the UK and a trailer for the film Delivery Man. In January 2013, the band signed to Mercury Records.
